Tis the season of Peace.

However is it really? The peace that passes all understanding isn't found without but within. It's not created by law but by each and every one of us searching our heart. Each of us acting like peace was the most important thing we posses and living it. It's a sad commintary that Ghandi who was known for being peaceful said he never became a Christian because he never met one. Do you really want peace, then live it. Not just with a certain few but with your family, your friends your neighbors and your community. It's a idea whose time has come.

Here's wishing you peace today and every day.

Call for a Constitutional Convention
Congress is for sale. How do we get back control over the people who supposidly work for us but do to corporate bribery (campaign funds), actualy work for the highest bidder.
Allow people to run as many times as they want, but not to succeed themself in office period. One two year term in the house then out for at least two years, Same for the Senate. One six year term then out for six years. Same for the President one six year term then out for six years. Also to limit the buying of political parties, by declaring corporations to be not a person but a legal entity which has a public charter which can be revoked if they engage in illegal activities.
I have more ideas but this should do for starters, POst your own ideas by going part way down on the right hand side and writing your own posts.

How can we turn this country around?????????????????????
How do we as a people get back control of our nation? Perhaps vote the rascles out? Ok. but what if you live in Ohio, FL or a half dozen states where the vote is predetermined by the politicians in power? Limit campaign contributions? Trying that in TX now, but little chance of success. Building community and speaking out when we are misrepresented? This one has a chance. Build a community of people who think like you that things are wrong. Set out to make them right where you are, and let it snowball downhill froom there. Choose one issue at a time, and speak out about it. Get it changed localy, and watch the politicians tremble. Why not start where your atr today?

I Dare Call It Treason
The current administration and several members of Congress have said in effect that the rule of Habis Corpus doesn't apply to some people. Where in the Constitution do they get such power. The Constitution doesn't give it to them. The Constitution is the superme law of the land, therefore what they are proposing and what they are doing is Treason. Where is the bringing of charges against them by the House? Where is the trial by the Senate? Do we the people who own this government have to act on our own to take the nation back. I swore to defend the Contitution from all enimies foreign and domestic, this statement is the first action on my part. Who agrees with me?

Something I wrote and sent out back in May, Please comment on it.

I have spent the last few days meditating on the state of the world. Asking what can I do to change the outcome of the various prophecies, and how to protect myself and those who come here seeking shelter and refuge. A interwoven idea came to me, don't know if it will work, but its better then anything I have seen up till now. In the rest of this message, I will share the idea as best I can. I'm no great speaker or writer, just a man who cares.

To all governments, corporations and religious business in the world I have a few words to say. Either cooperate with us, the people of the world or be consigned to the scrap heap of failed institutions.

First and primary to all else, each and every person in the world has the right to adequate, nutritious food. Not just sometimes, but all the time. Not the junk pushed as food by various corporations, but tasty, nutritious food. Grown localy by the people who either eat it or supply it to their community.

Second and just as inportant. everyone has the right to adaquate shelter. It doesn't have to be palatial, just shelter to keep them dry and warm, and give them a sense of privacy. Comfortable would also be part of this. This doesn't have to enrich anyone. People can be given the material land, and plans and build their own if nothing else.

Third, each and every person in the world has the right to education. Not the government sponsered education of today. Rather a education that will allow them to decide for thenself what needs doing and how to go about it. A education that takes into account the fact that we all have differnt abilities and each may then contribute to the good of the whole. Thereby giving each of them a feeling of belonging and contributing.

Fourth, nobody should feel compelled to do something out of fear. I realize that most of our fears are generated by government. Sometimes fears of anyone who looks or acts different then we do. Sometimes to control the people. Always to enhence the power of the government. From this day fourth, any government or corporate entity that uses fear to control its people or inpose their ways on other people shall be declared null and void. I feel quite rightly that their are enough lions and tigers and bears to go around without government induced fears.

Fifth I belive most problems are best handled by the people they directly concern. Thus be it family, neighbors, tribes, villages or nations the decisions should be made in council with everyone involved getting to speak. No decision shall be valid unless it is reached by concensus. That any powers given to a governing body be limited to the specific purpose of that governing body. All other things are reserved to the people.

Finaly I believe that every family, every community, every tribe has the right to trade the goods and services they produce with any other tribe, community or nation for goods and services produced elsewhere without governmental controls. Thus if I grow extra potatoes and your community produces cloth I should be able to trade my potatoes for your cloth without outside interferance.

This I set fourth as a guidline for all mankind on this the 22nd. day of May, 2005 CE.
To be debated, enhenced and put into place by all people everywhere. A citizen of the world.

I have since 1952 been blessed and cursed with visions of things that later happened. At first I dreaded these visions. Then I learned if I warned people and shared the vision, the people could change the outcome. Not by avoiding the incident, but by changing the cause of the incident.
Over the last few years I have seen earthquakes that leveled cities, rape and murder gangs roaming the streets of our cities, flooding of the coasts, volcano activity including where none had been and civil wars all over the globe including here in the USA. All of these are caused by greed and mans ruthless rape of the Earth. Also by the unchecked power of a few bankers and others. If it's not brought into balance, mankind may well be extinct.
The first thing needed is to create community, for no person can survive alone. The second is to live in harmony with your environment. The third thing is to start believing your religious teachings. The fourth thing is to listen to the guidance of your heart.
Thats about all I can say right now, but please change your of thinking and acting so that you may be among the many who will ensure the survival of mankind and the blessing of the next 7 generations

What did mr Bush know about the leaks?
All the talk about Rove and Libby being indicted. Seems to me they work for mr. Bush and mr. Chaney. If they talked to reporters it was probably on direct orders from their boss. Wouldn't matter, neither one of them has ever told the truth about anything. See where mr. Chaney got several million worth of stock options from his (former) company. If he doesn't work for them now, he should be, seeing as how he has made them a bundle with his no bid contracts. Oh well, politics as usual. Do anything and everything except what you supposidly get elected for.

Subject: [Tradition_OF_The_Redroad] Questions To Ponder As Columbus Day nears...

Another Message from the United Confederation of Taino People (UCTP):

Questions To Ponder As Columbus Day nears...

Please forward and print (one copy or many) this questionnaire and
distribute as widely as possible.
Please consider having your children hand it to their teachers, post
it on the bulletin board at your community center,
discuss it with your friends and neighbors, mailing a copy to your
Mayor, City Council and House Representatives,
Senators, Governor and President -- why are politicians neglecting to
do something about this absurd & abominable
holy day (that IS what holiday means) that only serves the purpose of
rubbing salt into some of the old, festering wounds
of so many in our multi-cultural society.

What is the meaning of this day to each of us, or is there any meaning
at all?
Please bring this up as a topic of discussion with others, and send us
a message at to let us know what kind of responses you are getting.

Questions To Ponder As Columbus Day nears:

1. Columbus sailed into the Caribbean and never even set foot in what
is now known as the United States.
So, why do we, in the United States, give him one of our 8 Federal

2. Why should Columbus be given credit for "discovering" the Americas
anyway, when we all know those l
ands were already inhabited and had been for thousands of years?
Didn't the inhabitants of those lands discover them?
Look at any map of the US and see the many, many, many states, cities
and towns that all bear the Native American
names of people and peoples who once populated those regions:
Illinois, Oklahoma, Cheyenne, Nantuckett, Milwaukee,
Yuma, Omaha, Witchita, Tallahassee, Mississippi, Muskogee, Tennessee,
Allegheny, Missouri, Kentucky, Huron,
Tuscalloosa and on and on and on......

3. Knowing that Native Americans were already here, and Columbus never
was here, why does anyone go along
with the myth that "Columbus Discovered America", when we all know it
is not true?

4. Why aren't we taught the whole truth about Columbus' actions and
the devastating consequences of those actions?
Why are we only told about Columbus, who as a boy who always wanted to
sail and then when he got older
Spain provided him three ships & he sailed across the ocean and
(where millions of Taino had lived for thousands of years and which we
now call the Caribbean).

5. Why are we only taught about that FIRST voyage, and not the other 3
voyages, when all hell broke loose?
Why aren't we taught about how on the second voyage, unlike the first
when Columbus only had 3 small old ships,
Columbus was given 17 large ships and 1,500 armed men eagerly signed
up for the chance to go to the "New World"
with hopes of getting rich quick on the gold to be found there? Also,
why aren't we taught about the greed and brutality
of the Spaniards against the Taino (who have been remembered as "naked
savages" in our history books, if at all), and how
the Taino were murdered and enslaved on that second voyage?

Why are we not taught about the third voyage & how when King Ferdinand
& Queen Isabella of Spain heard about
Columbus' actions in the "New World" he was sent back to Spain in
chains to stand trial for his crimes, was convicted
and stripped of his titles? Or, how the Spaniards tricked 80 of the
Taino leaders into a hut and burned them alive? Isn't
to omit the ugly part of the truth considered LYING BY OMISSION? Then,
that is what our schools are doing when
they only teach about the first voyage, they are lying by omission to
our students, and we as a improperly educated
country have a holiday for an evil, greedy, slave-trading, murderer.

Some people say he is worthy of the honor of a holiday for his
nautical genius, but the Vikings sailed across the ocean
to North America 500 years before, Marco Polo sailed to China & India
300 years prior and the Chinese set foot upon
the very shores that Columbus did 71 years prior to the arrival of
Columbus, the difference being, Columbus "claimed"
the land and cites the Papal Bulls with giving him the authority to do
so if no one disputes the action, and Columbus
according to his journal, was careful to add that no one disputed it
at the time, while admitting at the same time that
they could not understand each other, so how could they be expected to
understand what his flag-planting and
pronunciations meant?

6. Many people will argue that Columbus brought Western Civilization
to what is now known as the United States,
and that is the reason the US bestows upon him the honor of a holiday.
But how can we make that correlation when
Columbus, working for Spain, came in 1492 and the European colonizers,
who came here TWO HUNDRED years later,
came from England? If Columbus is worthy of being given credit for
this "achievement", wouldn't it have happened
200 years earlier and wouldn't we all be speaking Spanish now as the
countries he invaded do?

7. Some people will argue that Columbus Day is a day for recognition
of Italians, an Italian Pride Day.
Are Italians more worthy of recognition than other ethnic groups in
this country we have proudly (?) nicknamed
"The Melting Pot"? I have heard Italians say that Germans have
Oktoberfest, the Irish have St. Patrick's Day and
Mexicans have Cinco de Mayo, but none of those are FEDERAL holidays.
The only two ethnic groups worthy
of recognition for their contributions and sacrifice in this land are
those who were ALREADY HERE when the
Europeans came and those who the Europeans BROUGHT HERE IN CHAINS. All
other ethnic groups came
here voluntarily.

It was long overdue but African Americans finally got their holiday -
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in January....
but Native Americans still don't have a holiday (urge your
congressmen and women to support House Bill #167).

Some people think he is deserving of the honor because he proved the
world was round, but this was already a
widely accepted belief by educated people at the time as Ptolemy, the
ancient astronomer and geographer from
Egypt, declared that the Earth was spherical in the

second century.

8. Why do 17 states refuse to recognize and/or celebrate Columbus Day?

9. Why do protestors gather and march at every Columbus Day Parade?

10. And, WHY is Columbus honored with one of our 8 federal holidays in
the US when:

a. He didn't "discover" us, or anything previously undiscovered or

b. He never set foot on what is now U.S. soil

c. His legacy is greed, theft, destruction, brutality, slave-trading
and murder

d. It is offensive to Latin American, African American and Native

e. Native Americans, who were here and are worthy of a holiday, still
don't have one.

11. And why have the Taino people of the Caribbean and those in the
US, whose ancestors have paid such a huge
price for the misfortune of being "discovered", been erroneously
declared extinct and are therefore denied legal
recognition by the government?

***To learn more about the truth, read books like In Defense of the
Indians by Bartolome de Las Casas,

Louwen and Rethinking Columbus

Constitution II
The first thing I notice is "Section 1.(legislative powers:in whom vested:) All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representives. That means the President nor the various agencies can not write or make laws. They only have the power to carry out existing laws. So where did the Federal Register become a tool for enacting laws? Anything published in that, by definition has to be directed at carrying out of existing laws as passed by Congress. Many burdosome regulations would be eliminated just by challenging their legality. Up to us to do it.
Congress has the power to regulate commerce with foreign nations, among the several states and with indian Tribes. How many jobs have been lost because congress hasn't done its job of regulating and colected duties on foreign goods?
I will write some more tomarrow. I invite anyone visiting to post their own info, pet peve or suggestion, or comment on anything I have posted.
